First Blog Post

I've never created a blog before but I think I've wanted to for a while. There seem to be many things I would like to write about without creating it via any social networking site. This seems like the next best thing so that I can write and edit before I publish. I'm not an author by any stretch of the imagination, but have wanted a place to share my thoughts, experiences, joys, sorrows, and whatever else comes along with whomever cares to read about them. Family and friends, you will be included at times but I will change the names to protect the "innocent" if need be and if you want me to.  Anyway, as things come to my mind I'll be posting. So, stay tuned.....
